Mankind has stepped into a new knowledge era. With the rapid development of science and technology and continuing innovations in culture, the importance of lifelong education and lifelong learning is being recognized by more and more people. The severe conflict between the increasing demand for learning and insufficient higher education resources poses great challenges to the traditional education system. The University is motivated and seeks it as its mission to promote educational reform of universities and colleges to provide opportunities for lifelong learning and lifelong education.
Tsinghua University's School of Continuing Education has the response for leveraging education resources to serve society's needs. The school, relying on the University's excellent faculty resources, solid research foundation and extensive international cooperation network, provides high-quality, multi-level educational programs which utilize the most modern technologies. The School strives to promote the renewal of knowledge and to improve the overall ability of China's people to meet the increasingly demanding challenges of the modern world.
